Samsung has come with a lot of Android updates, and they’re doing a great job in offering only what’s the best. Right now, the company is releasing the August 2021 security update, and we know all about it.
There are no new features added with this update, but there are numerous fixes. Also, not all the Samsung phones will get this update, but the lucky ones are the following:
The S series is the flagship series for the company, and it is one of the best sellers around the globe. The S21 devices in the Chinese markets were the first ones to see the update, then followed by Germany and the U.S.
As of August 11, the Galaxy S20 FE got updated with the new security patch, for the 4G Exynos models and for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 versions.
The company wants to put an end to this series and focus on the Fold and Galaxy S lines. But the August 2021 update will still come to these devices:
Galaxy Fold 5G was the first one to get the security patch. The next one, only a few days later, was the original 4G-only Galaxy Fold.
Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A8 were among the first ones to get the update.
