If you’re willing to enter a world where evil lurks in the shadows with every step you take, you should consider giving the next Resident Evil game a try. Whether you want to call it Resident Evil Village or simply Resident Evil 8, the game presents creatures so horrendous that could make even Chuck Norris tremble in fear.
Resident Evil 8 will be playable on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One consoles, as well as for Windows PCs. Furthermore, last-gen versions will let gamers play the current-gen versions at no extra cost. Capcom declares that the game “will be eligible to upgrade from PlayStation 4 to the digital PlayStation 5 version and will support Smart Delivery for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.”
The developer and publisher Capcom will release Resident Evil 8 on May 7, as Digital Spy reveals. If patience is not among your virtues, you can already try out the demo version that is available exclusively for PS5 consoles. Your goal will be to make an unnamed maiden escape the dungeon.
Resident Evil 8 also has a new trailer, and we’re happy to present it to you below:
“Fear surrounds you in Resident Evil Village, unleashing a new chapter of survival horror on PS5, PS4, XBSX, XB1, and PC on May 7, 2021.”
