Resident Evil 4 Remake Drop Was Really Successful – Find Out the Huge Number of Copies Sold!

Even though it’s only been a few days since the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake, the much anticipated game has already sold a huge number of copies.

As you may be aware, the game was originally released back in 2005, and yet, the remake is still one of the most popular video games of this year.

After the success of all the previous Resident Evil remakes, it became one of the most popular horror games ever made and one of Capcom’s most sought-after releases.

It has taken a while, but the wait was worthwhile because it led to a remake that received reviews filled with 9 and 10 ratings.

Following its release weekend, the game is now enjoying tremendous commercial success.

The Resident Evil 4 remake definitely had a successful launch that may have just exceeded all the already high expectations, according to Capcom.

It is an impressive feat that the game sold more than 3 million copies only in the first 2 days of its release.

Assuming that every single copy was sold for $60, which is obviously not the case given that there were also special editions available for higher prices, the game would have made at least $180 million in its launch weekend only.

We can probably anticipate that even more people will start playing the game in the upcoming weeks and months given how positively it has been received, convincing those still on the fence to give it a try.

It’s even more impressive considering that the Xbox One, which has a huge user capacity due to being on the market for ten years, doesn’t have the game.

Although it is unknown how many copies of the game will ultimately be sold, it is clear that Capcom has a hit on its hands, and we can hopefully expect more Resident Evil games to be remade in the future.

That being said, it is worth mentioning that even though Capcom chose to remake Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6, they are not as well liked as the other games the company chose to remake, but it may give still just give them a chance to make them better.

It has been demonstrated by the developer that they are not afraid to make changes when necessary, so it is rather difficult to say if anyone is committed to Resident Evil 6 so much, to the point where they would be upset if the game underwent any significant changes.
