PS5 Restock Scheduled For Thursday – You Can Reserve One Now!

After postponing the first PS5 restock, Sony Direct will finally be providing fans of the system the chance to get one this Thursday (April 15) at 12 p.m. PT, Tom’s Guide reported.

The news was first shared by PS5 tracker Wario64, who got an official email from the Japanese company that confirmed that a second PS5 restock was planned for this week at Sony Direct and that more gamers will soon have the chance to get their hands on the new system.

During Tuesday’s restock, Sony Direct initially had an invite-only policy. However, later in the day, they allowed everybody in the queue to buy a console.

We don’t know if Thursday’s restock will go down the same way, but it is likely that the first wave will be reserved mainly for people who are lucky enough to be on Sony’s VIP restock list, then a second wave open to all will happen.

To get special invites from Sony Direct, you have to get an active Sony Direct account and enable notifications.

Once you configure an account, you have to add your address and billing info. Completing that information will simplify things, and you should be able to grab a PS5 console rapidly.

To enable Sony Direct notifications, sign in to your account, go to “My Profile”, and click the “edit” button from the page. A settings page will be opened. You will then be redirected to a new account settings page. From that point, click “notifications” from the left column and ensure that you opt to receive news and offers from the company.

Though that does not guarantee that you will get a PS5, it significantly increases your chances for the following Sony Direct event.
