Oppo Reno6 Z Goes Official: Specs and Features Revealed

Oppo is getting ready to introduce a new smartphone under the praised series Reno, dubbed Oppo Reno6 Z. The smartphone’s specs and features have been unveiled, and the launch event is now imminent.

The series includes the Reno6, Reno6 Pro, and the Reno 6 Pro+. The new offering is expected to pack some high-end features and a few upgrades.

The company confirmed that the new Oppo Reno6 Z would sport a similar design as the standard Reno6. The specs and features, however, will be slightly different.

Display details

The new Oppo offering will flaunt a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel with an FHD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 60Hz refresh rate (quite disappointing, right?).

The display will also feature a sleek punch-hole for the selfie camera.

Hardware and software specs

Under the hood, the handset will draw its power from a Dimensity 800 SoC, a mid-range MediaTek processor with 8-cores and coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

The best part is that Oppo Reno6 Z will feature expandable virtual RAM support of up to 5GB.

Oppo Reno6 Z will ship with Android 11 OS topped with ColorOS 11.1 out-of-the-box.

Coming to camera capabilities, the Oppo Reno6 Z will house a triple-lens camera setup, including a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.

Upfront, a shooter of 32MP is said to capture the best selfies and videos.

Battery capacity

A battery of 4,310mAh with 30W VOOC flash charge support is said to keep the lights on for several hours!

Other features

Oppo Reno6 Z will also pack dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G, 4G LTE, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Oppo Reno6 Z Price Tag and Availability Details

Oppo didn’t announce all the pricing details yet, but it has revealed two color options: Aurora and Stellar Black.
