OnePlus Works on a Phone That Features 16GB of RAM

Like any other top smartphone manufacturer, the Chinese brand OnePlus also needs to adapt to the latest standards from the market. But new information surfaces online, hinting that OnePlus even aims to surpass some expectations.

Phones packing 16GB of RAM surely represent something that you don’t hear about every day. We’ve seen that much RAM on the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra model that came out in early 2021, for instance, and many tech lovers were shocked. Believe it or not, but 16GB of RAM existing on a phone nowadays is nothing exaggerated if you plan to use that gadget on more demanding tasks such as video editing, for instance.

OnePlus Ace Pro will have 16GB of RAM

GSMArena cites a source known as the Digital Chat Station to reveal that OnePlus is now working on the OnePlus Ace Pro, a phone model that features 16GB of RAM. It will most likely be a flagship, as it will also be equipped with the most powerful Snapdragon chipset. To make things even more surprising, Ace Pro might actually be nothing more than the upcoming 10T phone model from OnePlus. We spoke about the OnePlus 10T just two days ago, and the information we had at that point confirmed that the best Snapdragon chipset would be mounted on the phone if it will indeed be the same device as Ace Pro. That processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform.

But the spec sheet of what the OnePlus Ace Pro has to bring is even more impressive than it already looks. The phone, whether it will actually be the 10T model or not, will also be capable of 150W fast charging.

We know from previous sources that the OnePlus 10T is coming out later this month, so if it will indeed be the same gadget as Ace Pro, there’s not much to wait for the launch.
