NVIDIA’s GeForce Game Ready Driver 531.18 Brings AI-Powered RTX Video Super Resolution

NVIDIA has released new updates for its graphics cards on a regular basis. The frequency of these updates can vary depending on a few factors, such as the release of new games or software that require optimizations or bug fixes, as well as any major changes to the operating system or hardware that may impact performance.

In general, NVIDIA releases driver updates for its graphics cards on a monthly basis, although this can be more or less frequent depending on the circumstances. These updates often include performance optimizations, bug fixes, and new features that improve the overall user experience.

NVIDIA’s GeForce Game Ready Driver 531.18 is available NOW

A newfangled driver package has emerged for the GeForce graphics processing units (GPUs) and it came knocking at our digital doors yesterday. This release comes with a basket of optimizations specially tailored for games such as Atomic Heart or The Finals.

But wait, there’s more! It also brings the RTX Video Super Resolution support, which is capable of sprucing up videos and getting rid of pesky artifacts in Chrome or Edge web browsers across numerous streaming platforms, as Notebookcheck reveals. This cutting-edge technology can take the visual quality of videos up a notch with its upscaling capabilities and improve the overall viewing experience.

NVIDIA also reveals that RTX Video Super Resolution uses the power of AI, as well as of the RTX Tensor Cores in order to make video quality in the Chrome or Edge browsers at a superior level of detail. It is possible by removing upscaling video resolution and blocky compression artifacts.

There are plenty of other ways that AI can improve gaming for us all. AI can analyze a player’s behavior and preferences to personalize their gaming experience. For example, the AI can adjust the game’s difficulty level based on the player’s skill level, suggest game strategies and tips, or create personalized challenges and quests.
