Motorola Moto G54 Specs and Renders: What to Expect From the Phone

Motorola has a new ace up its sleeve, just when we were wondering when the tech giant will release another phone: the Motorola Moto G54 model. A new video leak shows the forthcoming phone in all its glory, and the device itself will be available in four colors: Ballad Blue, Ambrosia, Coronet Blue, and Outer Space.

Alongside the visual reveal, the leak also reveals some specifications, according to GSMArena.  Reportedly, the Moto G54 will sport a 6.5-inch screen, boasting Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. That’s more than decent for any smartphone nowadays.

Inheriting key elements from its predecessor, such as the 5,000 mAh battery, a 50 MP primary camera, and a 16 MP front-facing camera, the Moto G54 model retains its predecessor’s water-resistant design, compatibility with Android 13, and a range of software features. In other words, the update to Android 14 shouldn’t be a problem for the Motorola Moto G54 smartphone. These enhancements will be layered atop an OS that retains a streamlined experience.

Unveiled back on February 8, 2023, Android 14 is the highly anticipated next iteration of the Android mobile operating system built by Google. Android 14 already made its debut in the form of the Developer Preview, followed by Developer Preview 2 back in March. The initial beta variant of Android 14 was subsequently rolled out to beta testers in April. A lot of smartphones will receive the full Android 14 update, and it would be naive to believe that only Pixel devices are on the list.

It’s nice to see that Motorola’s forthcoming addition to the G50 series is poised to offer a few small improvements compared to its predecessor, the Moto G53, although most of the fans were probably eager for more.
