Microsoft has released a new software update for the Surface Duo 2 that includes bug fixes, performance improvements, and camera upgrades. Microsoft’s support for the Surface Duo 2 seems to be on a roll. The hardware team has now released their 125MB monthly July upgrade. Whereas messaging Glance Bar notifs were included in the previous month’s upgrade, this month’s release concentrates on system efficiency and the camera.
In addition, improvements to technologies like face identification and night mode photography are always appreciated. Even though the camera on the Surface Duo 2 has undergone a significant amount of development over the last several months, any software adjustments that may make it better will help compensate for the hardware restrictions that are inherent to this particular form factor.
Microsoft has also released a July update for the original Surface Duo, even though there isn’t as much new information here as there is with the June update.
