Microsoft Gives Away Limited-Edition Xbox Series X Consoles Due to Porsche’s 75th Anniversary

During the Summer Games Fest, Xbox showcased a collaboration with Porsche, unveiling a Porsche 963-themed Xbox Series X console. However, this extraordinary piece of hardware is not available for direct purchase. Instead, it can only be obtained through a raffle, adding an air of exclusivity to the limited edition console.

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Porsche, the iconic automaker partnered with Xbox to offer 75 lucky winners the chance to own these coveted Porsche-themed Xbox Series X consoles, as Notebookcheck has discovered. The console’s design is said to be inspired by the Porsche 963, showcasing a distinctive aesthetic that captures the essence of Porsche’s automotive excellence.

The official announcement is very clear:

For 75 years, Porsche has been fueled by a relentless pursuit of bringing dreams to life. In celebration of this pursuit, Xbox has created 75 limited edition Xbox Series X consoles and controllers featuring custom designs inspired by the greatest racing colors of Porsche’s storied 75 year history.

All you need to do in order to be eligible for the offer is to complete a short survey about yourself. You’ll only have to enter your name and email.

The Xbox Series X remains a powerhouse console, as it’s capable of delivering a next-gen gaming experience to those who decide to buy it. The gaming machine built by Microsoft features a custom AMD Zen 2 processor with eight cores, an AMD RDNA 2 graphics architecture, and 16 GB of RAM, enabling advanced gameplay and stunning visuals at up to 4K resolution.

The lightning-fast 1 TB NVMe SSD of the Xbox Series X reduces loading times, while the innovative cooling system ensures sustained high performance. Backward compatibility allows the player to play thousands of games from previous generations, such as those that were initially released for Xbox One. With its impressive specs, the Xbox Series X pushes the boundaries of console gaming, delivering immersive experiences and setting a new standard for power and performance.
