Lenovo Unveils the Refreshed IdeaPad Pro 5i 14 and IdeaPad Pro 5i 16

The two laptops come in 14 and 16 inches for their displays, respectively, exactly as their monikers suggest. The new ‘i’ from their designations that appear compared to the original releases a while ago stand for Intel. This suggests the addition of the Intel Raptor Lake-H CPUs. To be more precise, the two laptops feature Intel Raptor Lake-H Core i5-13500H and Core i7-13700H CPUs.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU (16-inch variant) is among the options

Lenovo has been pretty diligent when it comes to the hardware area of the two refreshed laptops. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU (16-inch variant) is among the graphics options available.

Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i 14

The IdeaPad Pro 5i 14 of Lenovo comes with two display options. One of them consists of a 14-inch 2.8K display that has a resolution of 2880 x 1800 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It’s also a 16:10 400-nit IPS panel.

The other display option is represented by a 14-inch 2.2K display that has a resolution reaching 2240 x 1400px, and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It’s also a 16:10 300-nit IPS panel.

An Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU is mounted on the IdeaPad Pro 5i 14 laptop.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i 16 is another powerful and versatile laptop that is great in case you aim to use it as a professional, student, or just a person who’s in need of a reliable device for work or leisure. It boasts a sleek and stylish design, with a 16-inch Full HD display that is perfect for streaming movies, browsing the web, and working on documents.

The display of the IdeaPad Pro 5i 16 is 2.5K; it has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. We’re also talking about a 16:10 350-nit IPS panel.

When it comes to graphics cards, the IdeaPad Pro 5i 16 also relies on NVIDIA products pretty much. The laptop comes equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU, which is accompanied by an RTX 3050 option.

Both the improved Lenovo laptops also feature larger touchpads, FHD IR webcams with ToF sensors, and even display options of up to 120Hz.

Both the IdeaPad Pro 5i 14 and the Pro 5i 16 from Lenovo will be up for grabs starting in April 2023. The prices will start from 1,199 euros.
