Lenovo Legion Y700: The Gaming Tablet Has a Release Date

Lenovo sure knows how to create powerful laptops, as it’s one of the most successful manufacturers in the world. However, not everybody knows that the Chinese tech giant is also pretty good when it comes to creating tablets.

If you’re looking for solid proof, get a load of this: Lenovo is working on a new tablet dedicated to gamers. Known as the Lenovo Legion Y700, the tablet will become available as a new 8-inch version. In fact, it could be considered a reboot of the 2022 version. Notebookcheck has spotted the news regarding the tablet’s upcoming release on Weibo.

Lenovo Legion Y700 launches on July 22

The original Y700 impressed the world due to its 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 870 SoC, dual X-axis haptics, JBL speakers, as well as a special color-changing edition.

While Lenovo has confirmed that the “new” version will maintain a similar display size to its predecessor, some details regarding its specifications and upgrades remain unknown. However, Lenovo has announced that the tablet will be unveiled during a significant product event that will be held on July 22 in China, where other devices, such as the Y9000X 2023, will also make their appearance. Fans hope that this time, the improved slate will have available both domestically and internationally.

The collision course between RedMagic and Lenovo’s Legion Y700 intensifies the competition in the Android gaming tablet market, proving that mobile gaming is far from done impressing the world.

The 2022 version of the Lenovo Legion Y200, on the other hand, stands out for a large 8.8 inch IPS LCD display that features 120Hz of refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10. A Snapdragon 870 chipset is powering the tablet, and surely Lenovo could have done better work in this area. The battery is another impressive aspect of the Lenovo Legion Y200, as it reaches 6,550mAh.
