Guess what? It’s 2023, the year when more and more tech companies want to impress the world with their gaming machines. Although we’re not talking about consoles as imposing as the PlayStation 5 or the Xbox Series X, who said that handheld gadgets can’t do a great job when it comes to gaming?
We have a little more than a week to wait until the new Lenovo Legion Y700 is launched. We’re talking about a gaming tablet set to release on July 22, as we’ve shared the news in a recent article.
Thanks to GSMArena and Weibo, we can now learn some valuable information regarding the specs of the forthcoming tablet. While the Lenovo Legion Y700 tablet will maintain its predecessor’s 8.8-inch LCD display and resolution, it will feature an advanced 144Hz refresh rate for smoother gameplay. Running games at such a powerful display can surely be a delight for anyone who likes to regularly dive into those virtual worlds.
Legion Y700 will also feature an updated Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and up to 16GB of RAM, ensuring that the gadget will indeed do a great job when it comes to high-end gaming. Additionally, the tablet will retain its 6,550 mAh battery with 45W wired charging, an 8MP front-facing camera, as well as a 13MP rear camera. This means that you can as well take a photo or two using the tablet while using it for many hours without having to recharge it will also be possible.
It’s also worth mentioning that the Legion Y700 2023 will come equipped with an X-axis linear motor, dual speakers, as well as a large VC cooling plate to optimize thermal management.
Only time will tell for sure what else we can expect from Lenovo’s upcoming tablet, but the device will surely impress gamers!
