Kirk Cousins from Minnesota Vikings Does Not Want to Get the Covid-19 Vaccine

Kirk cousins had recently missed practice with his Minnesota Vikings teammates because he was in close contact with a person diagnosed with the SARS-Cov-2 virus. Although more than 70% of Americans got one of the available Covid-19 vaccines, the quarterback declared that he does not want to get vaccinated.

Kirk Cousins did not want to explain his decision

It appears that Cousins was asked why he does not want to get the Covid-19 vaccine, but the athlete did not want to go into detail, explaining that it is his personal and private decision. He also mentioned that using plexiglass could be a prevention measure against the virus. As Kevin Seifert reveals via Twitter, cousins became close contact after sharing a small room with Kellen Mond.

The Minnesota Vikings are one of the NFL teams with the lowest vaccination rate, only 70%. Even Mike Zimmer, head coach of the team, mentioned that he felt disappointed because many players chose to remain unvaccinated against the coronavirus. Mark Wilf, the owner of the Minnesota Vikings, shares Zimmer’s opinion and hopes that more players will get the shots.

It seems that just like the rest of Americans, celebrities and athletes are either pro-vaccination or against it. Recently, Jennifer Anniston declared that she parted ways with staff members who decided not to get the Covid-19 vaccine or did not want to disclose their vaccination status. The Hollywood celebrity took it on social media to ask people to wear masks and get vaccinated. She declared in a recent interview that many people who are sceptical against the Covid-9 vaccines do not seem to be well informed.
