IQOO Z3 Debuts as the Most Affordable Gaming Phone: Specs and Features Revealed

IQOO welcomed a new mid-range gaming smartphone recently, dubbed IQOO Z3. The phone is 5G-ready and packs one of the best features so far seen on an IQOO device.

From a sleek 120Hz display rate, an ergonomic design to a powerful Qualcomm processor, the IQOO Z3 is also available at an affordable price.

Display and design details

The IQOO Z3 flaunts a 6.58-inch LCD panel with a 1080×2408 pixels FHD+ resolution, a 90.6 % screen-to-body ratio, and a 401 PPO pixel density. 

The display also features a cool drop notch for the selfie shooter and a fantastic gradient rear surface with a 3D curved glass. 

Hardware and software specs

Under the hood, the new smartphone draws its power from a built-in modem processor that supports 5G connectivity, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G, coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM + 128GB/256GB onboard storage.

The best part is that IQOO Z3 comes with a memory fusion tech, Multi-Turbo 5.0, 4D game vibration, and a Five-fold liquid-cooling temperature. All these features guarantee a genuinely wonderful gaming experience.

The IQOO Z3 ships with Android 11 OS topped with IQOO 1.0 UI, out-of-the-box.

Battery capacity

A battery of 4,400mAh with 55W FlashCharge is said to keep the lights on for several hours.

Camera skills

Coming to camera capabilities, the smartphone sports a vertical triple-lens 64MP shooter with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture with a sleek 120-degree FoV and a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture for macro imaging. But that’s not all.

The primary camera also features some fantastic shooting modes, a 10x digital zoom and a Night Mode.

Upfront, a camera of 16MP with an f/2.0 aperture will capture the best selfies.

IQOO Z3 Price Tag

The high-end IQOO Z3 model, 8GB RAM + 256GB, comes with a price tag of approximately $305. The 6GB RAM + 128GB is available at about $250, while the third version, 8GB RAM+128GB, at around $265.
