iPhone 15 Pro Could Have the Same Display and Camera as the Predecessor

Perhaps everybody knows by now that Apple is releasing a new flagship iPhone every year. iPhone 15 will be the star of the show in a few months, and it doesn’t mean rocking the boat if we say that the pressure is huge on Apple at this point. The fans always want more from the latest iPhone.

NextPit reveals that according to reports, the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max may retain the same primary camera and display as its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro Max model, with the introduction of a periscope camera being the major upgrade. This possible decision is likely aimed at keeping the device’s price from becoming too high.

If the information is true, the current 6.7-inch OLED display existing in the iPhone 14 Pro Max is expected to be used again for the upcoming flagship model. While the bezels may see some reduction in size, the main 48 MP sensor is speculated to remain unchanged, indicating the continued use of the IMX803 sensor built by Sony.

Additionally, the smaller iPhone 15 Pro model may also maintain the same display but miss out on the periscope camera, which could be reserved for the iPhone 16 Pro that should come out in 2024.

iPhone 14 Pro Max: still not enough?

The iPhone 14 Pro Max, meaning the best phone of Apple’s flagship series for 2023, stands out for plenty of powerful features. The phone boasts a 6.7-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, Ceramic Shield glass protection, and Always-On display. It runs on iOS 16, powered by the Apple A16 Bionic chipset. The device offers memory options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, paired with 6GB of RAM. Its camera system includes a 48 MP wide lens with OIS, a 12 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 12 MP ultrawide lens. The front camera is expected to be 12 MP with OIS. It supports high-quality video recording, HDR, and Cinematic mode.

But even so, the fans still want more from the future iPhone 15. And who are we to judge?

It remains up in the air what exactly Apple is planning when it comes to the upcoming iPhone 15 series. But even so, we’ll be keeping an eye on the latest news on the subject to find out more! The iPhone 15 series should be revealed in September, and it will most probably be powered by iOS 17.
