iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 Third Public Beta – Key Features and Settings Revealed

Apple has just made available to public beta testers the third beta versions of iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, respectively. This implies that users who are not developers will get the opportunity to test the software before it is officially released. That is very awesome to hear. The third betas are released exactly two weeks after the second betas, and the third public beta has the exact same material as the fifth developer beta.

iOS 17 Public Third Public Beta

The iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 upgrades may be downloaded by public beta testers who have joined Apple’s beta testing program. To do so, open the Settings app, navigate to General, touch on the Software Update section, and then toggle on the iOS 17 Public Beta option.

Here’s what’s new:

– The StandBy option includes a centralized information display that shows the time as well as Live Activities, incoming alerts, and a variety of widgets.

– AirDrop has a brand new function called NameDrop, which allows you to share your contact information with someone who is nearby rapidly.

– Autocorrect makes it simpler to correct errors with the tap of a finger.

– Customizable Contact Posters are included in the Phone app, and they give you the ability to pick what information others view when you call them.

– Subtitles for Live Voicemail messages.

– The Messages app now has a more polished look, in addition to a Check-In function that is designed to assist you in arriving at your location in a secure manner.

– Maps may be used without an internet connection.

– Support for video communications is included in FaceTime.

– Safari now has a feature that allows users to share passwords and a private browser window that may be locked.

– The Photos app has the ability to identify your pets.

– Visual Look Up may be used with a wide variety of things, including films, food, and symbols.

– A journaling app and a new function that tracks your mood are now accessible in the Health app.

There are fewer functionality and configuration options available in the new beta version of iPadOS 17. They contain several features that are exclusive to the iPad, such as a redesigned Lock Screen.

Additionally, Apple has published fresh public betas of watchOS 10 and tvOS 17.
