Improvements To Navigation And Performance May Now Be Seen In The Google Home App For Wear OS 3

Back in October, Google revealed that the Google Home app would soon be available as a Public Preview for Wear OS wearables. At the time, the application was only compatible with Wear OS 3 smartwatches, and despite its compatibility, it was quite basic and lacked a variety of more sophisticated capabilities. But, on the bright side, it was something. This morning, Google made the announcement that it has made several changes and improvements to the Public Preview on Twitter.

Since the debut of the Public Preview, Google has received a great deal of feedback regarding the Home app for Wear OS 3, and as a result, the company has made modifications to improve the app’s quality of life and overall user experience. Not only did it make the app faster and more efficient, but it also provided a new list view that ought to make navigating the app a great deal less complicated.

If you have 10 connected devices or fewer in your house, the menu will now display a scrollable list of the devices that are connected to your network. In the past, users were presented with a list of rooms, which meant they had to tap into each room individually in order to view the linked devices and exercise control over them. After this point forward, this occurrence will no longer take place, and after the software has been released, you will have direct access to devices.

Google has said that the update will be going out to users of Preview in the coming days, so keep an eye out for it if you are anxious to test out the new features. People who use the Home app on Wear OS smartwatches are likely to notice a significant difference as a result of this change, despite the fact that it will be a minor update overall.
