How To Activate The New Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro’s Free VPN

Both the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro come with a free 5-year VPN service, in addition to having their own unique software functions built in. The free service was supposed to become active in December, according to Google’s pledge, but as of today, it can already be used.

You may maintain the privacy and security of any device that is connected to the internet by using a VPN, also known as a virtual private network. It also enables you to get around various restrictions, such as streaming apps or websites that are restricted to a specific location. However, you may have to pay a higher price to make use of these benefits.

Subscriptions to reliable VPN services typically cost $10 or more per month, with the exact cost being determined by the number of devices that may be supported by the service. Right from the moment you activate your new Pixel 7 (Pro), Google will give you free access to a virtual private network (VPN) service that will last for a period of five years. In a similar vein, Google One members who choose the 2 TB data cap receive the same free VPN service as part of their monthly package.

How to activate or deactivate the Virtual Private Network on the Google Pixel 7 (Pro)

Through the Google One mobile app, you will have access to Google’s VPN service and will be able to activate it as well. More crucially, Google emphasizes that the offer or benefit is not available in all countries where the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are offered. This is a limitation on the availability of the offer.

  • Launch the app Google One.
  • Click on the tab labeled Benefits.
  • Search for Virtual Private Network protection for multiple devices
  • Select View details.
  • Toggle the virtual private network (VPN) on or off.
  • After it has been enabled, a key icon will appear in the top status bar of the screen. In addition, you can control individual applications to allow them to circumvent the Virtual Private Network. In the final step, disconnecting from the VPN follows the exact same procedure.
