Hogwarts Legacy – How Many Hours Does it Take to Achieve 100% Completion?

Without a doubt, Hogwarts Legacy is a lengthy game with a lot of fun things to do.

Avalanche Studios’ newly released project is a role-playing game that ambitiously offers fans the opportunity to live their Wizarding World dreams in the late 1800s, long before the Harry Potter stories we are all so familiar with.

That being said, after 2 decades of waiting, you will get to go on many side quests, create the character you want (even yourself), explore Hogwarts castle and even choose a side between good and evil.

This game has been in development for many years, as well as postponed a few times but the delay is clearly evident in the final product, being all worth it in the end.

If you are excited to finally start your own adventure in the Wizarding World, or even if you’ve already been playing for a few hours, you may be wondering how close you are to the end.

Well, according to Avalanche Studios director and proud Ravenclaw, Alan Tew, it took him no less than 80 hours to get 100 percent completion, even though he already knew all the nooks and crannies on the map and all the story points, which means it will most likely take the majority of people even longer.

“We find that the length varies quite dramatically and wildly based on the player and, just like you said, mainlining versus doing all the side missions. I am someone, you can imagine, who’s been through many playthroughs and you understand what I may know about the game given my position. I recently did a 100 percent playthrough of everything, and even with all my knowledge and information, that was still an 80+ hour run getting through all of the content. I feel like there is a lot there and a lot to engage with and I am excited for people to have that experience,” Tew shared.

So what sort of side content can you expect in Hogwarts Legacy?

You might be wondering what kind of tasks there are to fill all that time given that it took one of the project’s key members more than 80 hours to complete the game.

Hogwarts Legacy has a large number of side quests and school assignments to accomplish in addition to a variety of exciting collectibles.

Players will be required to search underwater for hidden treasure, find lost items, run errands for shopkeepers, and more in these side stories.

There is plenty of content in addition to the main story, including extra activities like broomstick races and mini-games, so one thing you can be sure about as far as this game is concerned, is that you’ll never get bored of playing it.
