Gotham Knights: No Russian Version Will Be Available Anymore

Gotham Knights is the upcoming Batman game without Batman… and without any Russian options! Scheduled to release on October 11, the game will have Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Batgirl under the spotlight. They’ll have to protect the city from evil foes while Batman is not around.

Videgameschronicle.com reveals that there will be no Russian options, not even the language, for Gotham Knights. Publisher Warner Bros. won’t even sell the game in Russian territories.

No Russian subtitles or voices

The new decision means that Gotham Knights won’t even have Russian subtitles or voices. You may have already guessed the reason behind such decisions: Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The game’s Steam page confirms that Russian is not among the supported languages. Instead, there are English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Simplified Chinese, Spanish (Latin America), Traditional Chinese, and Portuguese (Brazil).

The description of Gotham Knights via Steam summarizes the story well:

Batman is dead. A new expansive, criminal underworld has swept the streets of Gotham City. It is now up to the Batman Family – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin – to protect Gotham, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals.
From solving mysteries that connect the darkest chapters in the city’s history to defeating notorious villains in epic confrontations.

Gotham Knights will be available for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. The minimum system requirements are the following:

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD Ryzen 3 1200
RAM: 8 GB
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 750 Ti / Radeon HD 7850
Pixel Shader: 5.0
Vertex Shader: 5.0
Virtual RAM: 2048 MB

As for the recommended system requirements, that’s where things get a little complicated. Gotham Knights requires a graphics card that features 4GB of VRAM, and an Intel Core i5-7600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3500 processor, just to say the least.
