Google Pixel 7a Becomes Official – Check Out the Specs and Price

After a relatively long wait, Google has finally revealed the new Google Pixel 7a to the world through its Google I/O event. The phone offers high quality for a relatively reasonable price.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the new Google phone is that it carries the Tensor G2 processor that was built by Google itself. The Mountain View-based giant relying on one of its own chipsets might not represent a clever move in the eyes of everybody, especially considering the fact that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is also out there.

The Google Tensor G2 processor is capable of some interesting AI gimmicks such as the Photo Unblur and Magic Eraser. Thanks to Notebookcheck, we can learn more about the new phone’s specs.

Powerful cameras

The phone also uses 8 GB RAM and 128 GB UFS 3.1 storage, and they work harmoniously alongside the Titan M2 security chip. With the integration of Face Unlock and Fingerprint Unlock features, accessing the device is a breeze.

The phone also features an FHD+ (1080 x 2400, 429 PPI) 90 Hz display, and it’s fortified with the protective prowess of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display also supports an intelligent Always-On mode, and it showcases essential At-a-Glance and Now Playing information whenever the user wants.

With Google Pixel 7a, you can harness the power of a 64 MP quad-Bayer camera, primed with an exceptional 8x Super Res Zoom capability, allowing you to bring distant subjects closer without losing clarity. In addition, the 13 MP ultrawide lens allows you to capture vast landscapes and sprawling vistas with not much effort. The device also allows you to elevate your selfie game with the 13 MP 95° ultrawide lens. You can also embrace the world of videography with the rear camera’s impressive 4K 60 fps video recording capabilities. The front camera allows you to capture life’s moments in delightful FHD 60 fps.

The price of the new Google Pixel 7a in the US is $499.
