Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Receive the Android 13 Update

Who said that only flagship smartphones would run the latest and the greatest Android 13 operating system? LineageOS, the Android-based operating system, has rolled out the update to the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system for both Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, as liliputing has discovered.

The move surely comes as a surprise for many, considering that Google officially ended support for the two smartphones in question three years ago.

Android 13 generally brings plenty of interesting functionalities. For instance, it has brought a revitalized search experience on the homescreen through the implementation of a new launcher-based interface. This innovative interface allows you to effortlessly search for various on-device actions, Google results, and even results from the Play Store and YouTube, all from a single search bar conveniently located on your launcher.

Google Pixel 2 and 2XL are almost five years old

Google released both Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL in October 2017. However, plenty of people still prefer using those smartphones.

The Google Pixel 2 is a sleek smartphone that features a 5.0″ display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels, providing clear and vivid visuals. The 12MP camera allows you to capture stunning photos and video with 2160p quality. With 4GB of RAM, the phone delivers smooth and seamless performance, powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor. The 2700mAh Li-Ion battery provides reliable and long-lasting power, so you can stay connected and productive all day long. Whether you’re taking photos, browsing the web, or watching videos, the Google Pixel 2 offers an unbeatable combination of style and performance.

The Google Pixel 2 XL, on the other hand, features a spacious 6.0″ display with a resolution of 1440×2880 pixels. The 12MP camera allows you to capture beautiful photos and video with 2160p quality. With 4GB of RAM, the phone runs smoothly and efficiently, powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor. The 3520mAh Li-Ion battery provides ample power, ensuring you can use your device all day without having to worry about running out of juice. Whether you’re streaming videos, playing games, or simply browsing the web, the Google Pixel 2 XL provides a superior user experience in a sleek and stylish package.
