Garmin Venu 2 and Venu 2S Become Better Smartwatches for Gamers Due to the New Beta 15.04 Update

Who said that gamers can’t benefit from a smartwatch? Nowadays, you can play a game on pretty much any device you can imagine: a laptop, tablet, smartphone, TV, and so on. Don’t be surprised if, soon enough, you can play games even on a smart refrigerator as a way of getting rid of anxiety if you don’t find any food inside!

Notebookcheck has discovered on Garmin Beta Forums that for the Garmin Venu 2 and 2S smartwatches, the Garmin Pre-Rollout Beta 15.04 has been made available. Although the update adds a new function for gamers, it is just tiny and signals the beginning of a new beta cycle.

Are you ready for the new Gaming activity?

Garmin has released Pre-Rollout Beta 15.04 for Venu 2 and Venu 2S smartwatches, adding a Gaming activity to monitor body performance as you game. Therefore, it can be used as an esports profile.

The new update is delivered over the air via a traditional rollout, allowing users to manually load the software.

Dimensionally compact, the Garmin Venu 2 boasts a sleek and stylish 43mm case, it has a vibrant 1.3-inch AMOLED display that delivers stunning visuals, and it brings your watch face and data to life with vibrant colors and crisp details.

With its convenient 20mm quick-release band, personalizing your Garmin Venu 2 is a breeze. Effortlessly swap out the band to match your style, whether you’re hitting the gym, attending a formal event, or going about your daily routine.

When it comes to battery life, the Garmin Venu 2 excels in providing longevity. In smartwatch mode, enjoy up to an impressive 9 days of battery life, ensuring you stay connected and informed without worrying about constant recharging. In GPS mode, the Venu 2 will last up to 24 hours, allowing you to accurately track your activities and routes. You can engage in GPS + music mode for up to 8 hours of seamless music playback while tracking your workouts.

For extended adventures, the power saver mode grants you an impressive 10 days of battery life, providing you with peace of mind on those longer journeys.

Weighing a mere 51.0g, the Garmin Venu 2 remains lightweight and unobtrusive on your wrist, offering exceptional comfort during all-day wear.

According to Garmin, qualified wearables will automatically receive the update over Wi-Fi, so feel free to keep yours connected.
