FIFA 22: Lazio Will Receive a Funny Fake Moniker in the Game

Most of us are well-aware of the habit of those from E.A. to fake name certain clubs in the FIFA series. If Piemonte Calcio doesn’t say anything to you, you probably never played FIFA, not even in an occasional situation at a friend’s house.

Lazio is a respected team from the Italian Serie A. The club is over 120 years old, and it’s representing the capital Rome. According to RealSport101, Lazio will receive a fake name for FIFA 22.

Lazio becomes Latium

Lazio becomes Latium for the next FIFA game that will be released about two months. For those who don’t know, Latium is the historical name for the Lazio region. It’s also where the city of Rome was founded and grew to become the capital of the Roman Empire.

The decision isn’t so surprising, considering that other Italian clubs have also been renamed in FIFA. AS Roma became Roma FC, Atalanta became Bergamo Calcio, and once again, Juventus is Piemonte Calcio.

FIFA 22 will introduce HyperMotion Technology for those willing to enjoy the game on the next-generation consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as on Google Stadia.

As for those willing to play FIFA 22 on a P.C., they must not forget that the minimum system requirements are pretty pretentious, according to the game’s Steam page. They’ll need at least an Intel Core i3-6100 @ 3.7GHz or AMD Athlon X4 880K @4GHz, 8 G.B. of RAM, an NVIDIA GTX 660 2 G.B. or AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 G.B., and 50 G.B. of free storage space.

FIFA 22 will be out on October 1st. You have plenty of time to decide about what teams you’ll be using in the game!
