Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Shows Orange Piccolo Teaming Up With Beast Gohan

The Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie that was released last year brought a very exciting plot for the fans of the franchise. For the first time in many years, Goku and Vegeta had to step aside and let other Z warriors show what they’re made of. In our case, Gohan and Piccolo had to be those who fought to save the day.

The main villain of the 2022 movie was Cell Max, who got revived and improved thanks to Dr. Hedo, the nephew of Dr. Gero. The original creator of Cell from Dragon Ball Z was Dr. Gero, who wanted to create the ultimate fighting machine by harnessing the cells of the best fighters that have ever roamed the Earth: Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza, Tien, and so on.

Gohan and Piccolo had to put up a devastating fight against Cell Max, and saving the world seemed like a more difficult task than ever before. It was only a matter of time until video games started to integrate the improved villain, as well as the new transformations of Gohan and Piccolo.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has a new cutscene that reflects some aspects that we’ve seen in the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie: Gohan fighting alongside his mentor and pal Piccolo while both were using their new transformations. In other words, Orange Piccolo and Beast Gohan were charging up the Special Beam Cannon:

The cutscene surely reminds us of an epic battle from Dragon Ball Z between Gohan, who was an 11-year-old child at that point, and the original Cell. Gohan threw a devastating Kamehameha wave at Cell in that battle, while Goku was somehow there, by his side, contributing to the attack.
