Dragon Ball Super Shows Vegeta Doing an Altruistic Gesture Once Again

When Vegeta was first introduced in Dragon Ball, he was cold and ruthless to the point that he would spare nobody who dared to stand against his evil goals. He was seeking eternal youth and taking Friezațs throne as the intergalactic tyrant. Nobody would have ever thought during Vegeta’s first appearances in early Dragon Ball Z that he would ever become one of the good guys.

But life is always full of surprises, especially in the Dragon Ball franchise. Vegeta left aside his ruthless character and selfish desires once he got married and had his first child. The Saiyan Prince slowly developed compassion and love, and we can even suspect him that he has had a crush on Goku for a lot of time.

Vegeta even sacrificed himself during the Buu Saga with the purpose of destroying Majin Buu and saving the Earth from his terror. Although the Saiyan Prince’s sacrifice was in vain, it still remained one of the noblest acts of Vegeta.

Dragon Ball Super Manga sees Vegeta as he gives his energy to Goku

Vegeta helped Goku a lot throughout the Dragon Ball franchise. The Saiyan Prince even saved Goku’s life a few times and gave him some of his own energy to continue some battles. It happened once again during a recent release of the Dragon Ball Super Manga, as ComicBook.com reveals.

In Chapter 81, Granolah has been overwhelmed in battle by his foe Gas. The bounty hunter got severely injured, and it was time for Goku to step in and teach Gas some manners. Vegeta surprised everyone at this point when he admitted to himself that he was too weak and tired and thus he gave his last remaining energy to his old rival.

The Saiyan Prince seems far from the character that we were all used to, who was seeking only victory in a battle. Vegeta shows once again that he can be altruistic.
