The dynamic between Goku and Vegeta allows them to change their dynamic and become rivals, as the challenges the two Saiyans face cause them to share goals. Fighting together allows them to learn more about each other and acknowledge each other’s strengths, which can lead to trust and rivalry. However, the difference in their natures leads Vegeta to be obsessed with Goku, limiting his potential to reach greater heights in terms of power.
