Dragon Ball FighterZ Players Will Enjoy the Rollback Netcode and Next-Gen Upgrade Soon

Dragon Ball FighterZ is still getting a lot of love from both the developers and the fans. After the announcement of the World Tour 2022/2023 competition a few days ago, DBFZ will finally receive the rollback netcode alongside a next-gen update for console players. The news is brought by GameRant.

The big news regarding the rollback netcode comes from Bandai Namco itself via Twitter, to be more precise, meaning the company responsible for the publishing of Dragon Ball FighterZ:

Unfortunately, there are no details available yet regarding when exactly the rollback netcode and next-gen upgrades will become available, but keeping an eye on the latest news remains our best option if we’re fans of the game.

The fans had been demanding a rollback netcode since the game’s original release a few years ago. As for the next-gen upgrade, it obviously would have been a shame not to make the game compatible with the new PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles. It seemed like just a matter of time.
