CS: GO Player Reveals Trick That Allows Characters to Float in the Air

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) is once again under the spotlight after a player revealed a little trick to allow characters to float around in the air. However, it won’t work in just any situation, and neither on any map.

The trick is available for Vertigo, one of the best maps in the game. Those of you who have been playing CS: GO know very well that the map is not recommended for those who are afraid of heights. The player known as Enfohip shares his way of defying gravity on Vertigo, and you shouldn’t hesitate to watch it below:

As you’ve already guessed, the trick is possible thanks to a bug in the game. The error is known as skybox, and it’s one of those bugs that you may not be willing to see fixed.

CS: GO remains the fourth game in its series but also the first one to add a Competitive Mode. Despite its age of 10 years old, the game is still highly popular today, and it doesn’t have too high hardware demands. To play it, you’ll only need a minimum of 2GB of RAM, 15GB free on the storage drive, an Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom™ X3 8750 chipset, and a graphics card that has a virtual memory of at least 256MB. It also needs to be DirectX 9-compatible and grant support for Pixel Shader 3.0. The game should work smoothly on pretty much any platform that features such hardware specs.

Incredibly enough, CS: GO still works on the “ancient” Windows XP and beyond (Vista and Windows 7). Not even Windows 7 is receiving support from Microsoft anymore, and that’s available since January 2020.
