COVID Vaccines: The CDC Raises Awareness About a Mistake That Some Vaccinated People Make

You know what they say that everybody makes mistakes, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns about a blunder that vaccinated people with either Pfizer’s or Moderna’s jab make.

While over 321 million doses of vaccine were administered across the United States, and a majority being represented by the jabs from Pfizer or Moderna, the CDC has something important to say. The news is brought by Yahoo! Life, and it reveals a big mistake that more than one in 10 vaccinated people make.

Don’t forget about the second vaccine dose!

The CDC reveals that more than 1 in 10 persons who got the vaccine developed by either Pfizer or Moderna forgot to go for their second dose. As perhaps everybody knows by now, being vaccinated for COVID with the shots from Pfizer or Moderna implies receiving two doses for each person.

Per the CDC, roughly 88 percent of those who got vaccinated with the first dose from Pfizer’s or Moderna’s vaccine were confident enough to complete their vaccination process with a second dose as of June 16, as CNN reports.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, who is the CDC Director, said on Good Morning America, as cited by CNN:

I will say, as worrisome as this Delta strain is with regard to its hyper-transmissibility, our vaccines work,

So I would encourage all Americans, get your first shot and when you’re due for your second, get your second shot and you’ll be protected against this Delta variant.
