On August 1, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive received an important update that brought a lot of changes. For instance, the competitive matchmaking algorithm has been through multiple changes. Skill Groups will have to be recalibrated for accuracy. The player will have to win the next match in order for his Skill Group to become visible.
The Counter-Strike Blog reveals all the new stuff that the new update brings to the game. There are also lots of changes to Cannons, and you can feel free to learn about some of them:
The complete change log is more detailed, so feel free to check out the game’s blog!
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) was made by Valve to continue the legacy of the legendary Counter-Strike 1.6, and it has been doing a pretty good job since its release 10 years ago. CS: GO brings superior graphics, and the gameplay was also significantly enhanced.
If you’re new to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and you don’t know what “toys” to “play” with, you can check out a tier list revealed back in April.
You can play CS: GO for free after downloading it from Steam, where the game is described as follows:
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) expands upon the team-based action gameplay that it pioneered when it was launched 19 years ago. CS: GO features new maps, characters, weapons, and game modes, and delivers updated versions of the classic CS content (de_dust2, etc.).
You can play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on both PC and consoles. The game is even compatible with the good ol’ PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
