Counter-Strike 2: Valve Announces the Release of CS: GO’s Sequel

After over a decade of dominance, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is finally getting a sequel game. Known simply as Counter-Strike 2, the new game is coming soon as a free update for those willing to get rid of the good old CS: GO. Since the 11-year-old game is available for free via Steam, you can consider that Counter-Strike 2 will also be free of charge for those willing to play it.

Valve Corporation’s multiplayer first-person shooter game, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO), has maintained its position as one of the most popular games on Steam since its release. With over 500,000 concurrent players daily and a significant presence in esports competitions, CS: GO has captured the hearts of many gamers.

Counter-Strike 2 is coming out this summer
