Check Out Apple’s List of What Software Everyone Should Keep in Their iPhones – Huge Apps Are Missing

It’s hard to imagine our lives nowadays without having apps installed on our smartphones. In fact, a phone without apps is like Ash without Pikachu, like a wedding without a bride, and so on.

We need apps on our phones, that’s for sure. But which ones are the right ones to keep? That’s the “million dollar” question. There are certainly a lot of debates on this area, as everybody has their own opinions on the subject. That’s perhaps why Apple has made a list of “must have apps” for all iPhone users, and Inc.com reveals it for us.

No Facebook-backed apps allowed

Apple doesn’t consider Facebook-backed apps to represent must-have software for iPhone users, which is indeed a surprise if you rule out that the two tech giants don’t love each other too much. There are almost 3 billion Facebook users worldwide. We were expecting to see the Facebook app, Instagram, and WhatsApp, but they’re all missing from the list.

Here are some apps from Apple’s list:

  • Snapchat: a social media app focused on videos
  • TikTok: video sharing app
  • YouTube: used for watching and streaming videos
  • Google
  • Gmail: email service from Google
  • Amazon Shopping
  • Bumble: dating app
  • Pinterest
  • Reddit
  • Hulu
  • Disney+
  • Tinder
  • Pandora
  • Starbucks
  • Walmart
  • Amazon Prime Video
  • HBO Max
  • YouTube Music
  • Twitch
  • LinkedIn
  • ESPN
  • Paramount+

These are most of the apps recommended by Apple as “must-have” by iPhone users. We believe that only one social media app would be enough. As well, two dating apps are way too many since one of them can be enough for granting a person a life partner.

We would be very interested in your own comments on the subject, and to find out what software would you recommend as being “must-have”. Feel free to leave your thoughts within the comment section of this article!
