The movie has now made more than $600 million globally. Behind fellow sequel Thor: Love and Thunder with $760 million, Black Panther is the seventh-biggest Hollywood movie of the year globally.
The first Black Panther film was a cultural touchstone released in 2018. The director Ryan Coogler, who helmed the first movie, faced numerous problems bringing Wakanda Forever to the big screen. The star Chadwick Boseman died of cancer in 2020 after confronting the illness for four years.

The film was made by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the 30th film in the MCU. In the movie, the leaders fight to save their land, keeping away from the wake of King T’Challa’s death.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was launched in the United States on November 11, 2022. Meanwhile, the film premiered on October 26, 2022, at the El Capitan Theatre and Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Wakanda Forever received positive reviews from critics about the production, action sequences, the cast’s performances, costume design, and more.
