Aaron Carter died at age 34. An agent for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told CNN they answered a call for help at Carter’s Lancaster, California home. On Saturday morning was found a deceased person was found around 11 a.m local time.

The artist was found dead in his bathtub, but authorities gave no information about a possible cause of death.

Carter’s son Prince was born in 2021. Prince’s mother, Melanie Martin, said she couldn’t accept what just happened and is still in the process of accepting it.

Aaron Charles Carter was an American singer, rapper, and actor. His first self-titled debut was released at age nine in 1997. He was the younger brother of the Backstreet boys’ Nick Carter.

In 2013, he faced many struggles, checking in to rehab several times and stuffing a bankruptcy petition over millions of dollars of debt. Aaron Carter also had some run-ins with authorities over drug possession and reckless driving.

Aaron Carter had a son, born on November 22, 2021, but after Carter checked into rehabilitation, he lost child custody.
