Vivo is getting ready for spring with new additions for its popular “S” lineup! First, news about Vivo S9 created quite a buzz, and now Vivo S9e popped up online.

Vivo S9e might arrive as a budget-friendly smartphone, featuring one of the coolest specs and features, as per recent sources hint. The upcoming handset will come with 5G network support and a MediaTek Dimensity chipset.

More leaks and other useful information about the upcoming Vivo S9e appeared on Weibo. Remember that some things might change as the smartphone will get official. So, take everything with a pinch of salt.

Display details

The Vivo S9e is said to sport a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED panel with a high-resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. 

Upfront, a sleek waterdrop-style notch will house the selfie camera. 

Hardware and software details

Under the hood, the smartphone might get its power from the MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and two storage options, 128GB and 256GB.

Unfortunately, the RAM configuration mentioned above might be the only one. Details about a microSD for extra onboard storage are still scarce.

Vivo S9e will ship likely with Android 11 OS out-of-the-box.

Battery capacity

A battery of 4,100mAh with 33W Flash Charge support is said to keep the lights on for several hours.

Camera skills

Coming to camera capabilities, the upcoming Vivo S9e is said to flaunt a sleek triple-rear camera module, including a 64MP main sensor and other mighty sensors. 

The front shooter will feature a 32MP Samsung GD1 Lens, great for capturing fantastic selfies and record some sleek videos.

Vivo S9e Possible Launch Date

Vivo S9e might officially debut this spring alongside Vivo S9. The rumour mill suggests a March 6 launch event in China.

However, the company didn’t confirm that news or any other significant details about the series’ availability or price tags.
