Grand Theft Auto Fans, Beware! Insider Brings Bad News About GTA 6

Even though GTA 5 is one of the most spectacular titles in gaming history, the fans of the related series are very hard to please. More enterable buildings, a female character, more side missions, an even larger map, and more – these are the least of what the fans are demanding from GTA 6.

GTA 5 is the best selling 3D game of all time, and there’s no wonder why: the RPG packs an immersive story, unforgettable gameplay, unique characters that will live forever into the gamers’ minds, and more. You can do pretty much anything you want in GTA 5, from illegal acts to help those robbed on the street or lend the police a hand for catching crooks. Therefore, the fans want even more from GTA 6, and the pressure on the developers from Rockstar is enormous.

GTA 6 is under development

Yan2295 is a prominent Grand Theft Auto insider, and the news he just shared about the long-awaited GTA 6 isn’t really satisfying:

The second sentence of the post can surely mean that GTA 6 releasing in 2021 is highly-unlikely.

However, GTA 5 wasn’t exactly the pinnacle of the Grand Theft Auto series. GTA 6 can surely drag some inspiration from other titles as well, such as GTA 4, GTA San Andreas, or GTA Vice City. Many of the games from the GTA series has its own particularities. GTA 4 was best known for its realistic mechanics when it comes to the movement of the characters and cars. San Andreas had very exciting side missions like pimping or robbing houses. Vice City had unforgettable and iconic soundtracks from the 80s on the radio, and so on.

Development of GTA 6 is at a higher level

Surely the question that sticks into many people’s mind is the following: how advanced is the development of GTA 6? Thanks to Strauss Zelnick, CEO at Take-Two Interactive (parent company of Rockstar), we have an answer:

We’re back in the motion capture business, so that’s a really good thing, we were not for a while, that could have really created a problem.

We have all our teams working from home, and they’ve been incredibly productive ever since.

The statements were made way back in September, but they are still conclusive enough.

GTA 6: a return to Vice City?

The most clues point to the wild idea that GTA 6’s playground will be in Vice City (fictional Miami). While many gamers would want a completely new location, most of the fans are excited about the possibility of the upcoming game to make a return to Vice City. We all know what huge success the 2002 title GTA Vice City had, especially for the 80s vibe and the stunning graphics for those times.

Recreating an entire location from a previous game is not anything new in the Grand Theft Auto series. GTA 5 recreated Los Santos, the location for GTA San Andreas. There were barely any gamers complaining about Rockstar’s move, as the map was recreated with stunning new elements. GTA 5 reached the incredible milestone of over 130 million copies sold across the world. We’re ruling out the offer from Epic Games that gave the game for free to anyone during a limited period of time.

Ned Luke, the voice actor for Michael Townley from GTA 5, has shown himself very annoyed about the surge of rumours and speculations regarding GTA 6. He suggested that the only reliable source is none other than Rockstar.

The Grand Theft Auto fans have a lot more to wait for GTA 6 than for any other title of the legendary series. This can only mean one thing: the upcoming RPG should be officially announced by Rockstar any day now!
