Asus is gearing up to introduce another sleek smartphone under the praised ROG Phone series. The new device, dubbed Asus ROG Phone 5, has already created quite a buzz online, and fresh new reports show what to expect.

The first live images are now available, unveiling the upcoming smartphone’s rear design. Asus ROG Phone 5 had also grabbed multiple certifications on Geekbench and 3C.

The pictures reveal the smartphone’s rear panel, which features the number “05.” Such a thing means that Asus will most likely skip the Asus ROG Phone 4 and launch the ROG Phone 5 instead!

Bringing the Asus ROG Phone 5 first seems like a curious yet intriguing strategy. The company didn’t say a thing about this, but we can expect anything.

But that’s not all. At the bottom-left corner of the smartphone, we can spot a red button. Sources say that this mysterious button is for activating the gaming mode.

Finally, the handset appears to sport a sleek triple-rear shooter that might offer up to 64MP.

However, until official confirmation is better if you take everything with a pinch of salt.

Asus ROG Phone 4 Expected Specs and Features

Display details

Asus ROG Phone 4 is tipped to flaunt an FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. 

Performance and software details

Under the hood, the upcoming smartphone is said to draw power from a Qualcomm processor, most likely the Snapdragon 888, coupled with 8GB RAM.

The Asus ROG Phone 4 will ship with Android 11 OS out-of-the-box.

Battery capacity

The next-gen Asus ROG Phone 4 is rumored to pack a dual-cell 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. However, some sources reported that the Asus ROG Phone 5 would feature these battery options.
